Consolidated director's creative vision and prototypes/pitch documents into workable game design documentation, creating comprehensive GDDs on basic systems and core game loop
Designed core systems: robot building, roguelite/round system, stickers and stats, enemies and wave management
Led a design team of 4, guiding junior designers by setting core design pillars and providing various feedback based on measurable design frameworks
Designed and balanced a final boss fight with 12+ attack patterns and 2 phases. In regular communication with enemy programmer to properly implement, balance, and playtest a challenging but fair final boss
Designed 12+ arms, final balancing and design filter for all robot parts/stickers/enemies
Other roles: Helped guide art direction & provided detailed feedback on art team for gameplay clarity and cohesion; initial narrative design on barks and other narrative elements, providing writers a framework to work off of; early UI prototyping; helping with direction and recruitment as "second in command"; helping with voiceover marketing/direction, from audition social media push to recording.
